Well, I flew in to very hot Atlanta at around noon today, and immediately took a car to the airport. Nothing was happening until 5pm so I took a chance to get some Sourcing work done for clients. At around 5pm I registered in the main lobby and then attended the opening reception. The excitement was palatable as you entered the room. It’s really great that SourceCon provides both an opportunity for brand new sourcers to learn from luminaries in the industry, but also allows more senior sourcers to connect with each other. Many of the folks I have not met except to email them or through Facebook. The networking opportunities are outstanding and I look forward to the next couple of days as I increase my understanding of Sourcing.
